The Construction Leaders Academy is designed to advance your leadership skills, grow personally, coach others effectively, navigate conflicts, enhance your business acumen, and negotiate confidently. This comprehensive program focuses on equipping construction managers with the necessary skills to handle complex people and business situations, fostering the growth of emerging leaders ready for higher responsibilities.
Submitting an application does not ensure acceptance into the program. Each year, a maximum of 30 participants will be selected, with preference given to employees of AGC member companies.

Who Should Apply?
This program is perfect for construction managers responsible for coaching, developing, and managing teams. Partner with us and UC Davis to amplify your leadership potential and significantly impact the construction industry.
- Established Managers: Possess three to five years of experience in a mid-level management role with expanding responsibilities, are directly responsible for growing, developing, and managing teams, or have completed the Emerging Leaders Academy or equivalent foundational leadership training.
- HR Professionals: AGC of California is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP®. This program is valid for 67 (sixty-seven) PDCs for the SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP®. For more information about certification or recertification, please visit www.shrmcertification.org.
