At the heart of AGC’s Emerging Leaders program, formerly known as Construction Leadership Council, we build leaders who are passionate about their careers and determined to build a better, brighter future for California.

AGC Student Chapters help college students develop practical skills, network with industry leaders, and gain exclusive access to AGC member contractors for the purpose of career development.

Build California is a comprehensive workforce development initiative created to inspire, engage, and activate the next generation of California’s construction workforce.

AGC provides extensive resources and support to address issues of diversity, equity & inclusion across your business, and the construction industry as a whole.

We award scholarships to individuals enrolled in certified training, pre-apprenticeship, or craft apprenticeship programs, and those attending two- or four-year college degree programs.

The Small Business Council offers small contractors access to training, education, and resources, as well as AGC’s network of general contractors and public agencies.

We continually offer courses designed to meet the latest regulatory requirements, and provide a clear professional development path for all levels of construction industry employees.
