Skilled & Trained Workforce Requirements

• Minimum Hours Worked Requirement – 10,000 hours.
• Process for Enrollment – Employer requests enrollment from the Training Center.
• Length of Accelerated Apprenticeship – 6 months for State Certificate
• Required Apprenticeship Course Work Hours – 72 hours.
• Accelerated Program Details – In house training on various subjects.

Skilled & Trained Workforce Requirements

• Minimum Hours Worked Requirement – 4,500 hours.
• Process for Enrollment – Employee submits Verification of Previous Experience, Basic Information and DIR Apprentice Agreement.
• Length of Accelerated Apprenticeship – 4 Years
• Required Apprenticeship Course Work Hours – 80 hours.
• Accelerated Program Details – Various craft related training with progressive complexity.

• Minimum Hours Worked Requirement – 4,000 hours.
• Process for Enrollment – Employer to complete Request to Indenture Form.
• Length of Accelerated Apprenticeship – 6 months.
• Required Apprenticeship Course Work Hours – 48 hours.
  • Accelerated Program Details – OSHA 30 and Adult CPR/AED/FIRST Aid class through the Laborers Training School

• Process for Enrollment – Email employer letter of sponsorship to skilled-trained@oett.net. Upon approval, an application will be provided to the member.
• Length of Accelerated Apprenticeship – 6 months and 1 day.
• Required Apprenticeship Course Work Hours – Approximately 72 hours.
• Accelerated Program Details – Online classes and Equipment Operation Assessment
