Mental Health Awareness Month
May is Mental Health Awareness Month! AGC of California is committed to incorporating mental health awareness into our overall safety efforts and asks members to host stand downs on their respective jobsites to engage employees in conversations about mental health, suicide prevention and substance use.
AGC of California’s curated resources give employers tools and templates to discuss safety policies and goals it has for every employee and worker. Please, have a conversation. The awareness provided through a simple conversation could save someone’s life. If you or someone you care about is struggling or thinking about suicide, please call the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Just dial 988.
